Apparently Mikey C is destined to watch Ultimate Fighter this Season in 3 episode increments. Just got all caught up last night.

6 Episodes in and this is what I have learned so far:

1) Rampage has issues and is a schi-a-tie Coach - He shouldn't be a part of this show. I don't know whether to blame him or Dana for this though. Going in Rampage said I'm not a Coach I'm a Fighter so I guess it is what it is.

2) Rashad is a pretty good Coach.

3) Matt is a Lazy Biach - He needs to check his Maxi Pads at the training room door, he needs to learn the difference between "HURT" and "INJURED", and he needs to "MAN UP" and Practice with his team or "SHUT UP" and go HOME...

4) Marcus is way to sensitive for Mikey C's taste...

5) Kimbo still hasn't got that "HOT" tag yet...

6) Mikey C's Fav 5 (to date & in order) - Kimbo, Justin Wren, James McSweeney, Jon Madsen, and Roy Nelson

UFC 104
Just got finished watching UFC 104 with some friends and I gotta say it was pretty ho-hum. Mikey C was not overly impressed.

Mikey C did not put out Predictions before the fight but we did predict each fight before they started at the table and I didn't do to shabby.

Only missed 1: Joe "Daddy" Stevenson vs "The King" Spencer Fisher - I took Fisher.

Fight of the night:
Was easily Cain Velasquez vs Ben Rothwell - Velasquez represented for the "WRESTLERS"...

The Machida vs Shogun fight is the one I want to talk about in detail for a few reasons:
1) It was the main event
2) There was disagreement at are table on who one the fight

1st I will say this did not live up to the hype nor did it live up to Mikey C's expectations.

I had Machida in a Route. Either Shogun is a lot better than anyone gave him credit for or (and this is what I'm leaning toward) Machida was a little banged up going in.

I expected Machida to win in 2 and from jump street dude was in no hurry to do anything...

Towards the middle of round 5 a buddy I was watching the fight with said he actually had Shogun winning the fight to that point. WTF!!! At the conclusion of the Fight another buddy, Nathan, said he thought Shogun won.

What? I did not see it that way at all. In my opinion it was very even, very tight, and if that is the case I don't think you can take the belt off the Champion if he didn't get beat. They should get the nod they've earned it...Agree/Dis-Agree? Did you watch and score it differently?

Machida ended up winning a "unanimous" yet close decision. The judges all actually scored the fight the exact same way Mikey C would have...

That said, had Shogun gone in as Champ I would have felt the same way - it was a very tight, even fight and I would have scored it close yet slightly favoring Shogun (the Champ in that scenario).

UFC 105 - Predictions Sure to go Wrong:
Couture over Vera
Swick over Hardy
Bisping over Kang
Brown over Wilks
Pearson over Riley

Under card/Dark Fights:
Etim over Gugerty
Taylor over Hathaway
Osipczak over Riddle
Kelly over Silver
Hamman over Gustafsson
Delgado over Winner (great last name - IDK why I'm picking against him!!!)

Previousley I touched on the Kim Couture/Tara drama (if that's what you want to call it). It appears they are going to settle there differences in the wrestling world as opposed to the MMA world. At Bound for Glory, TNA's biggest PPV of the year, Kim attacked Tara in the middle of her match. It appears as though they are putting some sort of work/shoot together for them...
